Located on the St. Lawrence River, Brockville is located in one of the oldest trading routes in Canada. By boat, is the only way to dive the Brockville area, many intact wrecks litter the bottom, but swimming against the current for any distance is all but impossible

Dave Cooper owns and operates Abucs Scuba, a charter company in Brockville. With visibility in the 70 ft range, the wrecks in the area are a divers paradise. Although protected by law, local divers, and wreck preservation groups see to it that divers do not take artifacts off the wrecks. It is not uncommon to see tools, plates and other goodies still on the wrecks.
